We got our Christmas tree the week before Thanksgiving, because why not? Maddie made beautiful ornaments from dried orange slices and a garland made from wine corks (#onbrand) ☺️ I love how cozy the lights make our house feel.
Two COVID tests, one hundred-mile drive, and one Chick-Fil-A drive-through dinner later, and Leyna and I were at my parents’ house.
And then it was Christmas morning!
We made prime rib for Christmas dinner. Later in the evening, we poured homemade egg nog and watched White Christmas.
I showed Leyna around my hometown.
We watched good sunsets.
…and took a family day trip to Yosemite!
It was such a different Christmas, but a good one. 💕
